A wheel manufacturer needs precise 3D models of all wheel designs for an interactive online configurator.
We scanned all wheels, optimized the models and built a web 3D configurator where customers can see wheels in different colors on their vehicle.
Quality control in manufacturing
A supplier needs to check the dimensional accuracy of castings -- previously with calipers and coordinate measuring machine, taking 45 minutes per part.

What does a 3D scan cost?
Individual parts from 250 EUR, more complex objects like vehicles from 1,500 EUR. For series, we offer per-unit prices. We provide a binding offer after a brief description.
How accurate are the scans?
With the Artec Space Spider we achieve 0.05mm -- enough for watch parts. The Artec Eva offers 0.1mm -- ideal for vehicle parts, furniture and architecture.
Can you also scan on-site?
Yes, Germany-wide. Our scanners are mobile and only need a power outlet. For larger projects, we bring a complete setup.
